: n1 ~! S( ?6 u( C0 D6 UIn our manufacturing division, we have a high visibility opening for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the Manufacturing Engineering Group in Taiwan.
, M( R) j/ Y; a- vThe prime responsibilities of this position are:
) z( B2 Z2 i" D1 w! k    • Direct and control the Manufacturing Engineering Group in Taiwan in accordance with the goals, objectives, and tasks defined by Corporate Engineering.
    • Ensure consistent methods and a sound rigorous approach to all tasks.
    • Mentor the engineering team in Taiwan.
! V  F! M  s* ~& d% [. a0 k    • Report status to the Parent company (Unites States).
    • Establish and maintain a strong presence to ensure that production quality measures are consistent with and enforce engineering product requirements.
    • Lead effort to work with suppliers to improve quality and lower costs.
    • Improve the efficiency of all our asia engineering processes, including
        ◦ DFM to the parent company in the USA

8 {# o; ^6 l; ?: v/ {6 i- L    • Reasonable proficiency in English is required for this position.
    • 8+ years of industry experience as a mechanical or manufacturing engineer.
6 F: f' T& b, P; a  U* t    • 3+ years of engineering management experience.
    • Experience in low to mid-volume manufacturing.
9 Y0 J7 \( O0 `( w3 K1 m% [  [9 b9 q    • A creative approach to solving manufacturing challenges in a cost-effective way.
$ E9 K9 d  c; p* M  |0 v3 S4 i    • BS degree or higher in Manufacturing or Mechanical engineering.
    • 5 years or more direct experience in the development and implementation of efficient, tightly controlled production processes needed in the production of our products:
$ }0 p& v$ j* R8 j        ◦ Strong working knowledge in metal fabrication processes
            ▪ Working knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, forming, diecasting is required.
            ▪ Brazing and soldering process knowledge (including cleaning) is a strong plus.
- A  E6 X4 A4 [" m. k( I8 O0 D" x            ▪ Experience with thermal products (heat sinks, heat pipes, and vapor chambers) or vacuum products is a strong plus.

    • Understanding of ISO-9001 or equivalent quality management system.

) h$ U; r. U$ L" k) R& ]    • Understanding of Statistical Process Control methods and production testing is a plus.
    • A data-based approach to troubleshooting, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

    • Act as the representative of the Engineering to plan, implement, and direct activities in Taiwan that support the objectives defined by the Corporate Director of Engineering.
! E( O; Z9 t' L6 O4 K; X. l; ?4 s    • Lead the effort to continually improve our's supply chain.
& n* o9 V. U, K$ M& l    • Use your directly applicable experience to guide the development of cost-effective and reliable manufacturing processes for Our products.
* _# l, A4 Y. |3 J4 F    • Create an engineering environment that relies on the repeatable application of process – not tribal knowledge or seat-of-the-pants methodology – to produce the industry’s best and most consistent vapor chambers, heat pipe-based products, heat sinks, cold plates, and closed-loop liquid cooling products.
    • Evaluate, justify, and recommend capital equipment necessary for production and test.
