A data-adaptive motion estimation algorithm and its lowpower
+ F+ n1 ]7 a. ]! sVLSI implementation are presented in this paper.
Basically, the proposed technique exploits the input data
# x* A9 F6 l8 \0 q# m+ Vvariations to dynamically reconfigure the search window
size of an exhaustive block-matching search. As proved
by computer simulations, the same high performance of
" E1 O* U# @. L1 O$ j. m0 ~' e! }the conventional full-search approach is achieved for a
remarkable reduction of the circuit power consumption.
