Have you ever used an embedded processor on an FPGA?

4 s& e5 L" I$ A2 BMicroBlaze - for USB2.0 data logger
PowerPC - for imaging system

Both processors are very similar to program. PowerPC offers substantial increase in performance, lower logic consumption, DCR and PLB bus. DCR bus is very handy while I think that PLB bus can replaced by OPB to simplify designs. There is a major drawback of hard processors - any errata cannot be corrected with updates (like PPC cache errata).
