Each year FSA recognizes the industry's "Most Respected Public Fabless Company" and the industry's "Most Respected Private Fabless Company," according to voting results provided by industry peers, suppliers, customers and pundits. Cast your ballot for the company you most respect in terms of product, vision, strategy and future opportunities. This year, FSA has added a new category to honor the "Most Respected Emerging Public Fabless Company."

Voting Guidelines:

# z% O, h) }9 }- D  q7 U, KAll semiconductor industry professionals are eligible to vote. Use only a company email address. Votes submitted using a personal email address will be omitted.
Please choose one public company, one private company and one emerging company from the list below.
You may cast only one ballot.
Do not vote for your own company. If you vote for your own company, the vote will be omitted.
A maximum of 5 votes will be counted from one company for a Most Respected candidate.

The prestigious Dr. Morris Chang Exemplary Leadership Award will be presented to high-tech industry veteran and philanthropist, Kamran Elahian.  With over twenty-eight years of experience, Elahian is Chairman of Global Catalyst Partners as well as six additional organizations.

Most Respected Private Fabless Company Award
( P+ }9 e1 K) NThe industry's Most Respected Private Fabless Company award is designed to identify the company garnering the most respect of the industry in terms of its products, vision and future opportunity. FSA's Awards Committee reviews applications and the selected companies will be based on the committee's analysis of each company's performance and likelihood of long-term success. On-line voting takes place to allow members of the semiconductor industry, including semiconductor companies and partners to cast a ballot for the private fabless companies they most respect.

The criteria for this award includes achieving annual sales between $100 million and $499 million. In addition, net income and market capitalization are considered to determine the list of nominees. FSA's Awards Committee reviews applications and the selected companies will be based on the committee's analysis of each company's performance. On-line voting takes place to allow members of the semiconductor industry, including semiconductor companies and partners to cast a ballot for the public fabless companies they most respect.

Best Financially Managed Fabless Company Award
) W- v0 J/ L$ i. V+ x6 N+ GThe Best Financially Managed Fabless Company Award ($500+ million in sales) is designed to evaluate the financial health of the public fabless semiconductor companies based on a number of financial indices such as return on investment, return on equity, inventory turns, revenue, net income, days sales outstanding, cash per share, cash burn, gross profit margin, operating margin and current ratio. FSA and Financial analysts evaluate each company against their peers, and the one with the best performance within each category is determined the winner.

Favorite Fabless Picks
Semiconductor financial analysts from top-tier firms select their favorite fabless company for this award. The analysts base their decision on historical, as well as projected data, such as stock price, earnings per share, revenue forecasts and product performance. This year, Mark Edelstone of Morgan Stanley will provide his picks.

Outstanding Financial Performance by Public and Private Fabless Companies
Companies that doubled either revenue or net-income (no negative quarters, and only financials according to GAAP (no pro forma) over eight consecutive quarters ending June 2006, may be eligible to receive awards for their outstanding financial performance. Due to confidentiality, private companies send their ballots to a third party consultant who determines which companies doubled net income and/or revenue. FSA does not have access to these results.
