Lead and deliver touchscreen projects using XX's capacitive touch controllers
; _9 H' b+ P& |7 [Work closely with customers to advise on best implementation in terms of mechanical design, sensor design, host device drivers etc
5 c* _$ u# F1 A' qTo identify customisation opportunities for capacitive touch controllers and to either implement the changes required to firmware or to work with HQ to get the customisation done
1 ~" f) R7 |3 R; PTo visit customers during concepting phases of projects
Keep updated with latest developments in technology
9 \% T5 C1 ]& R5 l4 W& bBecome a cap sensing expert and take a leading role in helping to secure new designs and win new customers
5 [  o$ ?% [2 {* N- d# E9 h7 mThis role requires a mix of skills covering some analogue circuit knowledge, firmware, mechanical understanding, some materials knowledge, customer guidance, comms protocols etc

Duties:
# L6 Z' Y' p" V, [9 x. @8 y3 P9 W1. Help key customers design using XX's cap sensing chips
. Z* `! t- c! J. \" t# n/ i& D2. Become and expert in capacitive sensor designs and how to deploy cap sensing
) n; q6 C! R9 Z6 }$ [+ @% |3. To adapt cap sensing firmware using C and AVR microcontrollers
+ \- B6 s0 ?1 s; X% U, Z# Y4. To prototype solutions on the bench and create proof of concept demos
5. To visit customers during integration phases where necessary and work through issues with deployment
6. Participate in regular reviews with customers and internal project management to coordinate and disseminate project status
7. Troubleshoot problems with customer projects or with cap sense products in general

Position/Skill Requirements:
Experience of firmware development; software development; electronic circuit design
