Setting Up Communication With a Viewer7 K/ {8 l( M8 o+ X
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between" @" b$ d& r- i& _$ ]! k3 m# `
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
( w' X/ N: |# U+ TInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.- d* E# k& E+ I8 v6 G6 D( L
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
* H% {( e2 a/ L$ n4 l( ZYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:
\+ n9 H) l# \4 E! [1. Open the viewer.
7 a {+ [: v. ^' l# B# J2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.+ ]6 x" w# C! i2 C$ F7 X Q" s
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…* w" S4 R& K- n: S
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
