PhotovoltaicsAerowest GmbH – AeroSolar (Deutschland)

The Dortmund-based company Aerowest GmbH is exhibiting at Intersolar for the first time this year, presenting its new software, ‘AeroSolar’, which makes detailed calculations about the irradiation potential of roof areas. Aerowest has specialized in the production of high resolution geodata and creates, among other things, aerial images of urban areas for Google Earth. Using a twin-engine airplane the data are recorded with a resolution accuracy of approximately three to five centimeters and are subsequently converted into 3D models of buildings.  more

National Semiconductor Corp. – SolarMagic power optimizer (USA)

Partial shading of a photovoltaic system can reduce its energy yield considerably. Partial and temporary shading can be caused by clouds, trees, neighboring buildings or dirt and can lead quickly to significant energy loss. If, say, ten percent of the of the system is shaded, this can lead to an energy loss of up to 50 percent.  more

SOLON SE – SOLON Black 160/05 (Deutschland)

The latest product from SOLON, the ‘SOLON Black 160/05’ roof-integrated system, can be used with all common roof coverings. The photovoltaic modules from SOLON with integrated installation system replace the previous bricks and roof tiles and can be screwed directly to the roofing battens. Individual modules overlap just like conventional tiles to make sure that water runs off optimally.  more

Australian company NEP Solar Pty Ltd. has developed an innovative reflector for concentrated solar thermal collectors using polymeric materials for its parabolic trough collecting system ‘PolyTrough 1200’. Whilst conventional sun collectors generally use metal constructions for the substructure, NEP Solar used polymer foam.  more


RESOL – Elektronische Regelungen GmbH – FlowCon Sensor (Deutschland)

Whilst working on a research project funded by the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (German Environmental Foundation), RESOL – Elektronische Regelungen GmbH set itself the target of developing a control unit which allows the operation of the solar system without a collector or store sensor. At the same time the device should reach the same energy yield of a conventionally operated installation. RESOL has developed an innovative solution to this problem with the SlowCon Sensor. more

EFD榮獲2009年國際太陽能電池獎

(20090609 11:14:51)美國商業資訊羅德島東普羅維登斯消息——諾信集團 (Nordson Corporation,那斯達克股票代碼:NDSN) 的子公司EFD, Inc. 榮獲2009年國際太陽能電池獎的光電模組組裝最佳技術產品獎。該獎項是在2009年德國慕尼黑太陽能技術和產品展(InterSolar Exhibition)上頒發的,共有超過兩千家產業企業登記參與評選,由九名產業專家擔任評審委員。

EFD的光電電池帶狀矽(Ribbon)和匯流條(Bus Bar)固定法是一種點對點焊接技術,它在模組組裝過程中使用專利的無鉛焊膏和焊劑混合物,將帶狀矽材料固定到銀質匯流條上。除了不需要用液體焊劑預塗敷帶狀矽材料外,額外的金屬成分還擴大了焊接接點。該技術與手動和自動組裝作業均可相容。
