l Plans, directs, and manages the central procurement and logistics activities under GM direction;
q3 Y4 T& k( a% fl Develops, reviews, and approves new or improved administrative, purchasing, and clerical procedures to maintain economy and efficiency of operation;
% V: M3 W3 Z4 L6 r' {l Evaluate overall revisions, price and past performance of each contract and approves price increases;
* h d2 D# g3 N5 L- O& Ol Researches and evaluates commodity areas and makes recommendations for standardization and additions to Qualified Products List; * f- l+ Y* J' m" B8 n
l Creates responses to special correspondence and handles special assignments and problems such as responses to citizen inquiries and bid protests; l Establishes priorities, assigns workloads and reviews the more difficult and complex assignments;
8 F% U4 Y6 j+ e Il Interprets contract provisions and reviews contracts for accuracy and changes prior to bid and renewal;
8 f7 @& V0 j3 [l Provides liaison between vendors and contractors; # D" |% w' L% M1 \2 P
l Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. |
