Setting Up Communication With a Viewer8 Q5 ]# e. Q. V
If you invoke Calibre Interactive from a layout or schematic viewer, communication between+ X) a- G7 o: ?# j+ e4 T
the two applications is set up automatically. If you open a viewer after invoking Calibre
1 D$ P/ `9 J/ d7 b: j6 ~* tInteractive, you can set up communication between the two tools through IPC sockets.) c: A) m6 V0 y
By default, Calibre seeks socket 8192, and if that socket is available, connection is automatic.
) \$ L/ L `1 h! EYou can change the socket address used by following this procedure:3 _) U& f$ ~' K( O
1. Open the viewer.
2 X9 X6 R) K. @; f+ K2. Activate a socket following the instructions described in the user manual for the layout viewer you have opened.# w2 L$ `! ^# F5 M8 ~: @6 O4 I
3. In Calibre Interactive, choose Setup > Layout Viewer…9 p2 @5 o& m6 P, k0 v
4. Enter the socket number that you activated in the viewer.
