Job Responsibilities 7 b( G" n/ N/ h5 z5 _6 cResponsibilities include: participating in the design of the evaluation tools; working with customers, designers, and FAEs to help customers with problems and to reproduce problems ; occasionally traveling to customer's sites to demo the evaluation tools and validate that our product works in their application; participating in customer weekly customer conference calls; writing application notes and other technical documentation; gathering competitive data and working with design engineers and marketing to analyze the results. - x" z# Q# j- h6 @! @) f + g8 w; G% n1 W% _! k5 X * f( N& F1 k! {. Functional/Industry Knowledge & g {+ d( r4 t) @- c. T

- Minimum of 4-6 years Applications Engineering experience in a product development environment " i+ N+ H6 y' L$ p/ H& n$ @-Work Independently with least supervision 9 s) j4 ^7 m" z5 `* i- Work remotely with development and Applications team% ^0 g, Z V2 U8 O5 R% F
- Proven Applications Engineering skills ) P. @6 x" ]' |4 C
- Knowledge and experience in Linux OS, application or device driver development 9 h6 p; K( O* a+ F/ i/ R- Experience with TCP/IP networking, Samba, CIFS - J% J+ \2 |. r3 d
- Customer support experience$ N: i1 q; {$ I1 ?+ N
- Experience with writing documents (data-sheet, application-notes, etc.)
