The –no_design_rule option is not used frequently and as the name + ?+ m. F9 F% f, C! wsuggests, it instructs DC to refrain from fixing DRCs. You may use this : p& d' u. C( d; `6 i2 Z9 y/ \2 Uoption for initial passes of compile, when you don’t want to waste time$ _% ]7 ]3 b3 a+ }
fixing DRC violations. At a later stage, generate the constraint report and 7 Q" D% T; c# W( ^* dthen re-compile incrementally to fix DRCs. This is obviously a painful- p9 M" H5 p; x& ?- F7 Q, K% n
approach and users are advised to make their own judgement.
